The Unitarian Universalist House is located next door to the Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion in the historic section of Germantown, and lies between Greene Street and Wayne Avenue. It is served by the #53 bus on Wayne Avenue, the "H" bus on Greene Street, the "65" bus on Walnut Lane, and the SEPTA R8 Chestnut Hill West train line (Tulpehocken Station). If you choose to drive, off-street parking is generally available in our parking lot.

From Center City Philadelphia
Take Schuykill Expressway (76 W) to Lincoln Drive. Follow Lincoln Drive to the third traffic light (Johnson Street). Make a right on Johnson Street, go one block and make a right on Wayne Avenue. Continue two blocks to Tulpehocken Street and make a left. Tulpehocken only comes in on the left, opposite the Tulpehocken train station. #224 is on the right ¾ up the block.

From Western Philadelphia Suburbs
Take Schuykill (76 E) to Lincoln Drive. Follow Lincoln Drive to the third traffic light - Johnson Street. Make a right on Johnson Street, go one block and make a right on Wayne Avenue. Continue two blocks to Tulpehocken Street and make a left. Tulpehocken only comes in on the left, opposite the Tulpehocken train station. #224 is on the right ¾ up the block.

From Northern Philadelphia Suburbs
Take 309 South across Cheltenham Avenue to Washington Lane, across Germantown Avenue to Greene Street. Make a left on Greene Street and follow up to Tulpehocken Street make a right on Tulpehocken. #224 is the first driveway on the left.

From Northeast Philadelphia
Take Roosevelt Blvd. South to Fox Street exit. Go up Fox Street to Midvale Avenue. Take a right on to Midvale Avenue to Wissahickon Avenue. Take a left on Wissahickon Avenue to Walnut Lane. Take a right on Walnut Lane to Wayne Avenue. Left on Wayne Avenue to Tulpehocken Street. Take a right on Tulpehocken. Next to the last house on the right side.

From Pennsylvania Turnpike
From the East, take Fort Washington Exit to 309 South then follow “Northern Suburbs” directions above. From the West, take the Norristown Exit follow Germantown Pike East through Plymouth Meeting, Lafayette Hill and Chestnut Hill. Make a right on Cresheim Valley Drive which becomes Emlen Street, follow to Lincoln Drive. Make a right on Lincoln Drive and follow to Greene Street. Make a left on Greene Street and follow up to Tulpehocken Street make a right on Tulpehocken. #224 is the first driveway on the left.

From New Jersey
Take Benjamin Franklin Bridge to the Vine Street Expressway (476 West ) to 76 West. Follow directions from Center City. From the Airport or 95 North Take 291 North to 76 West and follow Center City directions. Alternate Route - Take 676 North to Germantown Pike East. Follow directions from PA Turnpike West.
